Needed high sensitivity closed type headphones for an MP3 with a weedy output. Needed top sound quality for listening to CDs, FM radio etc. Wasn't prepared to have something that would break after a year. HD25 was recommended by Sennheiser (got detailed personal reponse from one of their tech. people). I am 120% satisfied with mine. Sound quality is excellent - crisp, clear, detailed with as much bass as you like and as loud as you like. Noise exculsion good - can listen to MP3 with a TV on quite loud in same room without disturbance. Easily wearable for long periods once you get the adjustment right - but obviously not as comfortable as some light-pressure open-back designs. Haven't deiberately abused them but tripped over the lead a couple of times - still "as new" after ~8 months daily use. Recommended without reservation.
 

I have had these headphones for 8 years. I chuck them around and abuse them and still they are strong. Sound quality perfect. Just perfection. There is nothing on the market to beat this package. Trust me You will love them.
 

I work as a transcriptionist (audio typist), I was looking for a good set of headphones aimed at 'voices' rather that music. I was advised that these headphones were used by outside broadcast TV people etc. I wasn't keen on the price but thought I'd give them a try - anything was better than the regular price headphones I was using at the time. Well what can I say? I can only compare it to when I got my first pair of glasses - the blury sight became crystal clear vision! My work production went up immediatly as I could hear everything first time etc, and within no time they headphones paid for themselves. I've since bought four pairs for family and friends and they are as equally pleased as I am. Also, when I do listen to music through the headphones I can hear parts of the tracks I never even knew where there, if you follow what I mean! Amazing.
 

I have worked as a DJ for years been everywhere and i have had these with me for five years THEY ARE SIMPLY THE BEST HEADPHONES EVER They sound great with great bass and really great top, they stay on when i am jumping around and weigh next to nothing , they have withstood a life of being on road with only a replacemnt earpads and they block out a lot of the niose from arounfd you so great for sleeping on the bus with some trance on BUY EM YOU WILL LOVE EM If you do stick some gaffer tape around the jack they do have a haibt of break the cable there
 

The quality of sound is excellent offering extraordinarily deep bass, crystal clear middle and a crispy treble sound. Closed cup design provides a brilliant isolation from the outside noise making them perfect for both club dj-ing and studio use. They are light weight at only 140 gr. and therefore very comfortable for use over a long period. Had mine for 5 years with only earpads replaced.Love 'em!
