best headphones ive ever owned for an ipod.
 

I have had 2 pairs of porta-pros, my first nearly 10 years ago, my latest about 1 year ago. Now the simple truth is, I'm fairly addicted to headphones, I currently own or have owned 30 good pairs of headphones ranging from 35 pounds to 250 pounds.

But I always return to my prota-pros. You probably don't believe me, but these headphones sound really good, not as good as a few of the above mentioned in terms of sonic performance, but I love the warm full bodied, full of life and comfortable sound these beautiful hard wearing headphones produce.

You really should try them and see. Pay your money have them delivered, give them about 50 hours to burn in they "DO" need burn in, at first they will feel cold and coloured, but trust me after a couple of days you will feel the sun warming your ears. I hope this has helped!!!
 

No matter what anyone tells you - up to £50 you simply cannot buy headphones better than than the Koss PortaPro. In fact I've used £100 cans that don't sound this good. Okay, so they look a bit 80's, but they were introduced over 25 years ago, and the design hasn't changed for a reason. You'll have to re-asses your EQ settings too, as the bass on these things is massive, to the point where they can sound a bit muddy if you get it wrong. If you're a GQ boy and want to look hip, then steer clear. If you want top class audio on your DAP or around the home and don't mind looking a bit retro then these are for you. Oh, and you get a lifetime warranty from Koss too. What more could you ask for?
 

Bit odd no one ever comments on the design these are very cool entry headphones with good bass response etc clear cut stuff
 

I loved these Koss model from the first time I head them. The sound is clear, the bass is deep, sensitive & if you play with equaliser it produces even better sound.
